2022 Veterans Day Parade

Delaware County Veterans Legacy honored local veterans in a ceremony at Towne House in Media, PA on November 11th, 2022. Due to the weather, the annual parade was moved indoors. The event was still hugely successful and speakers and bands were able to come together to honor those who have given so much to their country.

Weren’t at the Ceremony? Here’s What You Missed!

*We were fortunate to have several individuals contribute photos and videos of the 2022 Veterans Parade. BIG THANKS to Dave Sibley and Delaware County Council. We have included several of these in the gallery below, but you can also view photos of this ceremony and others on our Facebook page!

Guests & Speakers In Attendance –

  • Ashli Rice & Kevin Pierce- Ashli and Kevin joined the ceremony to honor veterans with a selection of patriotic songs.
  • Ken Braithwaite- We were honored to have American politician, diplomat, businessman, naval officer, and Delaware County resident, Ken Braithwaite as our guest speaker. Ken served as the 77th secretary of the Navy from May 29, 2020, to January 20, 2021, in the Donald Trump administration. Prior to that, he served as the U.S. ambassador to Norway, beginning February 8, 2018. Braithwaite is a retired U.S. Navy one-star rear admiral, having served in the Iraq War. We are thrilled to have him as the Master of Ceremonies and Grand Marshal for the 2022 Veterans Day Parade.
